1955 Madame Alexander-kins Doll Red “Play Dress” Tagged

This is Madame Alexander’s 1955 Alexander-kins 8" doll in a tagged red taffeta “play dress” with lace on bodice and sleeves in crisp clean unwashed and unironed condition tagged (the buttons appear to have lost some color to the tips). The cutie doll is a Straight leg walker with the head turning mechanism working (the hips are somewhat "wiggly" but the doll can stand by herself-(common I think). She has a pale body with full face paint, hair curls original set but separated from play, and she is marked ALEX. The molded lash sleep eyes are working nicely. The dress came with the red taffeta panties, wonderful straw hat with red ribbon trim, and great red leatherette center snap shoes (they are very crisp, slight wear to the snap area, one shoe is missing the sole, and one sock has picked up a very pale pink area). The socks have never been out of the shoes. The hat elastic is present but just slightly stretched. The outfit is in very excellent clean condition appearing to be in unplayed with or received very little play. Really really adorable.
