Trembler Bug Unsigned Schreiner Daisy Demi

Serious Schreiner collectors will take one look at this adorable Demi Parure and know that it is undoubtedly an unsigned Schreiner. It has many Schreiner characteristics, i.e. inverted set stones, open dog tooth settings, 3-D design, correct earring back, and excellent quality. The little bug sits above a daisy and is attached on a spring to make him tremble with movement. (I had to keep holding him still with my finger in order to get a picture!) He overlooks a beautiful large sparkly and multi-faceted reverse set citrine coloured chaton. The petals are a series of pear shaped milk glass stones and are fastened with open dog tooth prongs. There is nothing flat about either the flower or the earrings. True to Schreiner's wonderful eye for art (there is nothing flat in nature) the petals rise upwards on one side and curve to a downward point on the other side. The setting is done in a beautiful polished japanned finish.

The brooch measures 1 3/4" and the earrings measure 1 1/4" X 1". Truly a Unique Demi and in wonderful excellent vintage condition.
