Something special for non-traditionalists, requiring something different for unique jewelry storage - This original, Egyptian handmade wooden jewelry box, comes from Alexandria in Egypt and is over twenty five years old.

The Ancient Egyptian motifs are painted on all sides in vivid colors of red, green and blue against a shiny black background.

Anubis is depicted anointing a pharaoh for the after-life. The torso of the pharaoh is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and so is the skirt of Anubis.

The jewelry box measures 8 by 5 by 4 inches. It lined in red velour and is in very good condition.
