Beautiful Hand-made Sterling and Enamel Drop Earrings

These lovely earrings were made by a friend. This woman has a passion for enamel, and when she found these vintage silver and enamel beads, she knew they were destined to become earrings.

What she's done is attach them to long sterling wires with rounded tops. It's a bit of an unusual look, but it works well.

The beads are from the 1940's or 50's and they look wonderful decorated in a rainbow of colour. The enamel has been hand-painted in the shape of flowers.

The beads measure about 7/8" long, and when you add the wire, the total length is 2&7/8". If you know someone tall with a long neck, these would look fabulous on.

Total weight is 7.0 grams. Condition is excellent. The beads are slightly tarnished, and the enamel does contain the odd pin-prick sized hole (air bubbles?). It doesn't take away from their beauty, though.
