Here's a beautiful antique sterling silver and natural amethyst pin. This is such a pretty pin with its sweet flowers and twisted vines on an open setting.

The stone is a lovely deep purple. It's a fully faceted, natural amethyst that is about .20 cwt. The stone is bezel set in silver with fine millegrain work.

The pin itself measures 1&5/16" by 7/16" and weighs 2.2 grams. Fastens with a variation on the "C" type catch.

Excellent condition; just some tarnishing. Stone in very good condition. No damage. Stamped "Sterling" on the pin.
