SALE Hand-painted Antique Rock Crystal Pin

This is a fabulous old rock crystal pin that has been beautifully hand-painted in lovely bright colours.

The faceted crystal is quite wonderful: it has a very large table which contains the hand-painted flowers, and it catches the light beautifully.

The crystal is framed in twisted wire, made from either gold-fill or brass. Staying with the flower motif, there are pretty flower decorations on all 4 sides of the frame.

Total length is 1&3/8"; height is just under 1". Crystal is bezel set, and the metal frame contains very fine millegrain work.

Closes with a roll-over catch which may or may not be a replacement (?). Weight is 8.7 grams.

Overall condition is excellent. There are a few light scratches on the stone, but they aren't noticeable. No damage. Needs a good cleaning! (Note: I don't clean antique jewelry because many people want pieces as is).

I was told the pin dates to the Victorian era.
