SALE Beautiful Gilded Silver Etruscan Moonstone Vintage Pin

This is a wonderful old Etruscan-style pin made from gilded silver (silver with a thin layer of gold) and set with one genuine moonstone and a carnelian.

I bought this lovely pin from a jewelry store going out of business, and it was tagged moonstone and ruby. But under a loupe, the stone is a rust, or dark orange, colour. At any rate, this is a beautiful piece that measures 7/8" across by just over 1" tall.

It resembles a small bottle, or a container for perfume. The pin is in superb condition, with only a few light surface scratches. Catch is the roll-over type. Weighs: 5.8 grams
