This feminine antique pendant features a most exquisite genuine amethyst.

It's not dark purple, which is the most valued type of amethyst, but it's a lovely colour and it has a wonderful cut. The pale lavender stone is prong set in a gorgeous swirled gold open design set with real seed pearls.

It's very late Victorian/ Edwardian-Art Nouveau looking. The lovely pearls (there are 6 in total) look absolutely dreamy with the amethyst. They're all lustrous and still have their original nacres. The pearls are set in yellow gold bud-like ornamentation.

Pendant has a lovely large rose gold bail to the top. Total length, from the bail, is 1&3/8". Excellent condition. I don't see much wear and no damage at all.
