Hand-made Sterling Panel Necklace w/ Floral Pattern

This is a unique necklace that was hand-made by a Canadian artisan. If you want something that your friends don't have, this is the piece for you.

The necklace was made in small lots, so there's a very good chance they will have never seen one like it.

It consists of a good, strong, thick silver rope chain that is strung with 7 rectangle-shaped sterling silver panels. The artist has cut away the silver to create a beautiful rose motif, including leaves and branch.

I'm not sure what technique was used to create this marvelous piece. The background looks like etched horizontal lines, and the flowers are smooth and slightly raised silver, with intricate detailing.

The interconnected (by image) panels can all move around freely on the chain, but they stay quite still when you are wearing the necklace. It looks best when you wear it fairly high up on the neck.

Not marked (common for artisan-made jewelry) , but guaranteed solid sterling silver.
