I didn't notice that until it was pointed out to me. My response was, what beautiful spoons! Whoever made this pretty piece must have spent a long time looking at cutlery, because the work on the silver is just awesome! Or did the cutlery inspire the bracelet?
The pattern is floral--the main flower looks like a daffodil, which is nestled between small flowers and framed in bold lines.
The ends of the spoons join together at the front by way of a large jump ring, to which a lovely silver heart charm is attached.
A bit further around the sides of the bracelet are sleek, bold lines, which continue to the back.
The clasp is unusual: two strong magnets hold both ends together. The magnets work very well and make putting on and taking off the bracelet extremely easy.
Quite an imagination created this piece, because the choice of material, and the way it has been put together, works extremely well.
Now to the particulars: front of bracelet measures approx. 5/8", and tapers to just over 1/4" at the back. Charm is about 1/2" across.
Each half of the bracelet is about 3&1/4". Because it opens at the back, it can fit most wrist sizes. My wrist is small at 5&1/2", and it does fit, although it would work better on a larger wrist, I think, because it tends to slide up and down a bit too much for my likes.
Total weight is a hefty 42.9 grams!
There are no marks on the bracelet, but I was told it is sterling. However, I have no way of confirming that, so I'm going to price it as if it were silver-plated.
Excellent condition. Very minimal tarnishing, some light surface scratching.
