Lovely Antique 9K Genuine Coral Stickpin

Coral comes in many different shades, but the light peach, or salmon colour, is my favourite.

This lovely old Victorian stickpin is set with exactly the shade of coral I prefer. It's a round cabochon, not too pale, and it doesn't contain blotches of white. Maybe pinky-apricot is the correct way to describe it.

Whatever, it's a gorgeous shade, and it looks wonderful claw set on this 9K yellow gold open mount.

The coral measures 6 mm across, and it sits atop a 2&1/4" pin. It didn't come with a stop at the bottom.

This coral is guaranteed genuine. Excellent condition. No damage or wear to the coral; it just needs a good cleaning at the sides and underside.

One very tiny soldering mark detected near the top. Not noticeable without magnification.

I can just barely make out a stamp on the pin that says "14K." However, when I tested the gold, both on the top and on the pin part, it tested for 9-10K.
