This is a darling Victorian pin that's hard to resist. It has a certain charm about it with its swirly shaped bar and ornaments. I love the paste heart that sits front and central. It is very sparkly even after all these years! The marriage of silver and gold looks terrific as well. Wonderful details on the ivy leaves. The always-green leaves of the ivy vine symbolize undying affection. Measures just over 1&1/2" across, and fastens with the old "C" type catch. Excellent condition with normal wear. Unmarked. Total weight: 2.3 grams. Would make a lovely token of friendship for a dear friend or mate.
