This is a fab little souvenir pin from Australia. It is a vintage commemorative pin in the shape of a violin, with a scene of the Old Parliament House building in Canberra. With this beautiful 1920's compact, you get the terrific geometric lines of the Art Deco era, and the lovely, soft work of engine-turned guilloche enamel. What a beautiful combination they make on this sweet square shaped vintage compact, complete with paper clip chain. The enamel is mint green (my favourite) with a pretty pink rose and foliage.
