R. Atkinson Fox is believed to have had more then 25 different pseudonyms; one documented name he used was Arthur DeForest. This work was done under the DeForest pseudonym, and is entitled “As Twilight Approaches”

The framed print measures approx 11.25in by 8.25in. Both the frame and the print are in good condition and the colors are still vivid. It is possible that the print started off life adorning a calendar.
