The white agate is what makes this piece so unique. The brooch is gold toned(gold washed, tested as 9K) and measures 1 3/8" long and 1 1/8" wide. The white agate (chalcedony) measures 1" x 3/4". The compartment with the hair measures 1/4" x 1/2". There are minor scratches to the rock crystal covering the hair and some soldering marks that are noted in the pictures. There is also some crazing to the agate on the back. It does not have any stability or durability issues. This is a great piece to add to your collection even with it's small blemishes. A great price too.
