A fun piece that can be worn all year long. The semi-crystal opal has amazing primary colors of blue and green. The photos do not do it justice. Trying to photograph opals is very hard, hence the different lighting techniques. The opal measures 10.0mm x 12.0mm. Estimated weight is 1.56cts. The opal is in excellent condition with no crazing or chips. The mounting has wonderful filigree work and measures 1 1/4" wide x 1/3/4 " long. It is stamped 12/20 G.F. which means it is gold filled. The total weight is 5.6 grams. Any blazer or little black dress is begging to have this accompany it.
