Offered for sale is 3 wonderful vintage issues of Better Homes and Gardens; May 1939, February 1938 and March 1938. Each issue was originally 10 cents.

Better Homes and Garden, February 1938. Spine is tight, front cover shows age, front and back cover are dirty. Filled with wonderful ads and stories: 'Dress Your Home with Plantings; Blue Ribbon Annuals for 1938; The Old South Lives Again; Your 1938 Floor-Coverings; Mrs Shultz Visits the Dionne Quints. Furniture ad for Heywood-Wakefield; Bon Ami; and Plymouth Automobiles.

Better Homes and Garden, March 1938. Spine is holding together, front and back cover is very dirty, inside pages are in decent condition. Ads: 1938 Chevrolet,Westinghouse Electric; Wear-Ever Aluminum; Bendix Home Laundry. Stories and articles: Are You a City Sucker; Our Big Little Garden; The Painted Room Picks its Color Scheme; Your 1938 Wall-Coverings: Gadgets That Pay Their Way; Modern Turns to the Classic.

Better Homes and Gardens, May 1939. The cover has become unattached to the rest of the magazine...inside pages are holding together. The front has the cutest little girl, colors is still good but it is dirty. Ads: Armstrong Linoleum; Plymouth Cars; Perfection Oil Burning Stoves; Eclipse Rocket Power Mower; Magic Chef Range; Goodyear Tires; Texaco. Stories and articles include: How to Build or Buy a Home; Trellis Designs; Out West With the Pumphreys; Need More Room; year-round slip-covers; How to Light a Garden.

All three of these magazine are filled with wonderful stories, receipes and ads from the late 1930's.
