Exquisite draped white satin pillbox cocktail hat designed by Marion Valle.

The crown is folds and gathers of creamy white satin secured with 9 mounds of silver beading centered with a clear rhinestone. A delicate beige netting drapes over the front, attached at the sides. Velvet covered wire prongs are on each side for secure placement.

The inside is trimmed in lovely satin braid with a tiny pink rosette. This hat was made with wonderful detailing.

The original owner has placed a pearl hat pin in the crown and I have not removed it.

As to condition the silver beading shows age, one of the clear rhinestones are missing and some have darkened somewhat. There is one tiny spot of soiling near the center beading and rhinestone cluster....very very tiny.

Measuring on the inside it is 19 inches.
