Vintage 1950s Black Velvet French Evening Purse Handbag

This is a lovely vintage 1950's black velvet evening purse or handbag. It is soft flexible velvet fabric on a fabric covered heart shaped frame with a silver-tone clasp. The 14 inch handle is also velvet.

The inside is black fabric lined with an open pocket and a zippered pocket.

It is stamped in gold La France.

Measurements are 10 x 6 x 2 inches.

Condition: it does show some wear. The velvet is worn along the frame and the handle. Nothing that would prevent this lovely purse from accenting your vintage or evening wear.
