SOLD Vintage 1940s Mini Faux Reptile Box Purse Handbag

This is a darling mini box purse from the late 1940's or early 1950's. The fabric is a vinyl made to look like reptile. It is on a goldtone frame with a wide lid style opening that snaps shut and a matching fabric short handle.

While not in mint condition, still very good and completely usable. The inside shows a small amount of wear and there's some spots on the inside of the lid closing which I have photographed. The outside has a tiny white spot on the back which you can see in the photographs.

It measures 4 1/2 x 6 x 4 inches.

This is just the cutest little purse for those evenings when you don't need to carry a lot of items.
