This absolutely gorgeous ornate pierced silverplate basket is marked "Z. Barraclough & Sons Leeds." The business was established in Leeds in 1805, then became Z.Barraclough & Sons Ltd. after 1914.

This gorgeous basket has a beautiful flower and leaf design with intricate pierce work. It measures about 12.5" long, about 10.5" wide and stands about 9.75" tall with the handle straight up. The base is almost 6.5" long and 4.75: wide. The piece is in beautiful used condition with some light scratches in the bowl area. The piece weighs about 2.75 pounds by itself.
