This particular enameled box was produced by Kingsley Enamels of Worcestershire, England. The company had an illustrious history of fine metal and enamel work spanning from1904 until they were acquired by Moorcroft in 1998, and renamed Moorcroft Enamels. Moorcroft closed their enamel production in 2006.
This box measures 1.75" wide and 1" tall. The base is a gorgeous dark blue enamel over copper. The bezel is 22K gold plated brass. The lid depicts a beautiful bird ( a robin?) perched on a broken flower pot amongst grasses, berries and leaves. It appears to be a transfer print. The box is in perfect condition and comes in its original brown box with yellow satin lining. The presentation box is in good condition but does have a small white sticker on the underside stating D243 in ink which was probably an inventory number, and a .75" wide area where some of the brown paper has been torn off on the bottom.
