Great collectibles, friendly service, careful packing and quick shipping - why buy anywhere else?
Frank Beall, a California decoy carver who passed away in the early 1990's, made beautiful decoys including salesman sample size replicas of turn of the century Mason decoys. This is one of those salesman sample size replicas of a Mason Ringneck Drake with his signature dated 2-17-87 and #1 of 1 on the underside. His method of staining and hand painting lets the beautiful wood grains show through. The decoy measures slightly smaller than most of his miniatures I've come across with a length of 7.25" and a width of just under 3". He is in excellent condition with only one slight indentation on his head. The eyes appear to be yellow glass.
