Harmony Kingdom Interchangeables Crack A Smile Alligator Box

The UK based Harmony Kingdom began making the Treasure Jest boxes in the early 1990's. They have quickly become highly collectible. The boxes are intricate carvings by master artists made of crushed marble and resin to resemble antique ivory and handpainted in the English Cotswolds by cottage industry artisans. In addition to Treasure Jests, a line of the boxes called Interchangeables was introduced in which parts could be interchanged between various boxes. The British artist for Interchangeables was Adam Binder.

"Crack a Smile" is the alligator box which was carved in 2001 for issue in 1-1-2002. It was retired on 11-26-2003. Only 2746 boxes were produced. The box dimensions are 2 x 3.5 x 1.25 inches. Model number is TJIAL. The alligator is in excellent condition, but the packing box has some wear and a spot on the backside where the green paper has torn off.
