Elgin American Mother of Pearl Carry All Compact

Here's a wonderful vintage carry all topped with gorgeous mother of pearl from Elgin American. This lovely carry all holds a lady's lipstick and powder, and has an extra compartment for pills, money, Kleenex or other necessities. There are some light scratches on the bottom as to be expected in these old pieces. The only real flaw in the piece is some spotting and rippling on the mirror. Elgin American Made in USA is engraved on the right hand door over the powder compartment. The lipstick is retrieved by pulling the button enclosure on the front. It has the original rectangular puff with the blue satin ribbon which has the Elgin American name across it, and the powder sifter as well. The piece measures 3.5" by 2.25" by 1". It closes tightly.
