Frank Beall was an excellent carver of duck decoys who passed away in the mid 1990's. This is one of his miniature decoys which he has signed and entitled Mason Mallard, 3-14-89, 1 of 2. It is a beautifully hand painted solid wooden duck that measures about 8.75" long. No damage. The miniatures were usually made for hunting enthusiasts for decorative purposes.
