Scarlett's Resolve Gone With the Wind Collector Plate

"Scarlett's Resolve" is the eighth plate issued in the Gone with the Wind:Golden Anniversary Series. It was authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Turner Entertainment Company to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the classic film, Gone With The Wind. W.S. George issued the plate in 1989 and limited production to 150 firing days. This plate comes with the original shipping box which is rather worn, the pamphlet describing the scene and the artist, Howard Rogers, and a Certificate of Authenticity for the plate (but with the wrong plate number). The plate has Bradex No.:84-G20-1.8 and plate no. 14294D. The number 9193D is on the COA. The 8.5" plate is in excellent condition. The plate has a trend price of $65 in the 9th Edition Price Guide to Contemporary Collectibles and Limited editions by Mary L. Sieber. Price is reduced for problems with the box and COA number.
