This is a beauty, most likely from the 1950's, which appears almost untouched. The compact is filled with a light pink face powder and has a satin lined powder puff with the Max Factor logo in gold lettering. The mirror is in excellent condition as is the entire compact. It is gold toned, but may be brass as it has a good heft to it. The closure snaps tightly shut. The entire surface is covered in little gold tone leaves and flowers.No damage at all.
