What a gorgeous gold encrusted creamer and sugar set! Both pieces are marked Ovington's and have the wreath mark with OB for Ovington Brothers. The sugar is also stamped "Bavaria" in red ink. Ovington's was a high end retail store in New York located on 5th Avenue which commissioned pieces from various European factories to sell in their stores. Ovington's closed in the early 1900's. Sometimes used as a wedding cake topper according to Peggy Whiteneck's Second Edition Collecting Lladro Identification & Price Guide, this beautiful porcelain figurine is called Wedding. It features a young groom looking adoringly at his new bride. It was issued by Lladro in 1972 and retired in 2005. The sculptor was Julio Fernández. The model number is 4808. This 7.75" tall figurine is in excellent condition with no damage. No box available.

If you collect luster china, here is a beautiful yellow teacup and saucer in pearlized luster with gold trim and a big beautiful pink rose in the center of the pierced saucer. These pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, except for some smudging of the paint on the green leaves below the rose. The rose design appears to be hand painted. The teacup measures about 4" in diameter at the rim and stands2.25" tall. The saucer is 5.75" in diameter.

This wonderful little soft paste porcelain snuff or patch box is covered in hand painted flowers and gold detailing sectioned by blue ribbons. The box has the French factory Sevres mark which dates it to 1767. The brass bezel appears to have a gold wash. At some time during its long 241 years of life, the lid has been cracked in thirds and repaired.
