Victorian Lighting. Fabulous Victorian brass piano lamp by Bradley and Hubbard. Never electrified, still uses oil. This dates to the 1870s. Has a Patent date of April 4th 1876 (last pic). Marked "B&H" on the font (pic 4) and also on the flame spreader. Nice form. Tripod legs ending in hoof-like feet. Wonderful patina on the brass. Adjustable height ranging from about 63" to about 74" or so. Central draft burner (currently lacking a wick). I do not know if the globe is original or not (but it is old). The globe is handpainted with flowers. The oil lamp is in very good to excellent condition. Great dated piece from a quality firm. Nice to find one that hasn't been electrified.
