Staffordshire Transferware. Nice early English pearlware plate. This pearlware plate is 200 years old. It has an early chinoiserie pattern with a butterfly border. Unmarked. Pattern and maker unknown to me at this time. The pattern kind of reminds me of the "Bridgeless Chinoiserie" pattern. The transfer is a line engraving and not a stipple engraving which help date this before 1810. This plate dates in the 1790-1810 time period. The plate is in very good to excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The glaze is nice and shiny and has a wonderful blue tint to it. The plate is nice and clean and there is little if any wear to the plate. The plate displays beautifully. Measures about 9 3/4" in diameter.
