Staffordshire Transferware. Beautiful early green transfer plate. Unusual shade of green almost a teal color. The pattern is called "Japan Flowers". This was made by Ridgway, Morley, and Wear (1836-1842). Marked with a printed pattern and makers mark. This piece is early and dates to the 1830s at circa 1836. Nice scalloped rim. Condition is very good to excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. There are a few minor areas of discoloration mostly noticed on the back. Measures about 9 3/8".

This plate dates circa 1830. Marked with a printed pattern and makers mark. Condition is very good to excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Little if any wear. One small area of discoloration. Displays beautifully. Measures about 10" in diameter.

Staffordshire Transferware. Scare early 2 color transfer plate. The pattern is called "Cologne". This was made by Ralf Stevenson and Sons (1832-1835). This plate was made in the early 1830s. Marked with a printed pattern only. The central scene is pink with the outer border black. Condition is very good for its age. No major chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a tiny no harm flake off the back foot. This is a scarce example of a 2 color transfer in this pattern. Measures about 8" in diameter.
