Charming Vintage Book Gentleman's Trinket Box Wild Ducks in Marsh

Offering a very charming, vintage ceramic trinket box in the shape of a book. It measures 7" X 4 1/2" X 2". I think this may a box for a gentleman as the picture on the cover is of wild ducks in a marsh. The picture is not just hand painted on, it was incised into the wet clay producing a low relief that can be felt with the fingers. The box has no chips or cracks. Lovely, original piece.
