Beautiful Vintage Green Swirled Glass Toothpick Holder

Offering a stunningly beautiful, vintage glass toothpick holder. This item measures 2 3/4" in height and has an inner mouth diameter of 2". It is thick walled and heavy for its size. This could be either a match holder or a toothpick holder but I feel it is the latter. The glass is a deep emerald green shot throughout with lighter swirls. The body is comprised of 6 panels separated by small peaks. Each panel has a series of pleats that run the length of the body and in each panel the pleats alternate with one panel draping downwards and the next panel draping its pleats upwards. The base has a large intricate star etched onto it. The holder whether for matches or tooth picks is simply wonderful with its deep color and intricate design. This belonged to my grandmother and it has no chips, cracks or other damage.
