Offering an antique coffee grinder marked on the top; Imperial Arcade Mfg. Co. This piece dates to well before 1900, probably the 1880's. The coffee grinder measures 6 1/2" square and 5" in height, not including the large handle. It is heavy, weighing about 5 lbs. The grinder is made of iron (I think) and is most ornately decorated. It has a swing out door on the top and the grinding mechanism inside is clean and turns smoothly. The knob on the end of the long turning handle is carved wood.
