Offering an antique, framed lithograph from my aunt's estate. This is a magnificent, hand colored lithograph taken from St. George Mivart’s; A Monograph of the Lories or Brush Tongued Parrots. That book was published in London 1896 by R.H. Porter, and it contained 61 hand-colored plates by John Gerrard Keulemans. Only 250 copies of the book were ever produced. This lithograph was taken from one of those books. Directly underneath the colored picture it reads; 1) The Chattering Lory - Lorius ...
