Amethyst Faceted Oval Drops and Rondelles Negligee Necklace Sterling Silver

In homage to my favorite era of jewelry ~ here is my version of the classic necklace known as a negligee necklace. (A pendant necklace with two dangling components, often of irregular length)

I've taken tiny petite amethysts rondelles, and using many pieces of sterling silver wire, I've wrapped them into a delicate chain. Finishing my necklace, I've attached sparkling faceted oval amethyst drops with fine silver house made head pins. Finished with a lobster claw clasp, this necklace is 19 inches in length, with the drop adding an additional 3 inches.
