Cobalt Blue Sea Glass On Sterling Silver Earrings

I;ve drilled Cobalt blue sea glass (that may have started out life as an old vicks vapor rub bottle) on geometric sterling silver chain and sterling silver lever backs. These earrings measure just under 2 1/2 inches from the top of the lever backs.

I've always been fascinated with these unexpected finds and have struggled to come up with a way to incorporate the sea's unique gemstones (also known as mermaids tears, beach glass or seaglass) into wearable art ~ these earrings are the result of that process!
