This buckle from the late 1800's is in excellent condition. Measuring 2 1/2" high by 3/4" at it's widest point.

The craftsmanship of this buckle is stunning. Open work with lattice and scrolls. Very fine work! Like a piece of lace.

Stamped on the back Sterling with a hall mark that looks like a dragon.
