This is a very spectacular collar from just after the Civil War period. It is a large collar of some of the finest lace making in the books. I have been told by a number of lace experts that it is English Honiton lace. Imagine how long this collar must have taken considering laces of this caliber took a skilled lace maker over an hour for just one inch of lace. I am bringing out several of my private collection laces in the next few weeks. This is a fabulous MINT condition piece of hand loomed bobbin lace from the late 1800's. The lace is a soft ivory color that measures 6 1/2" across the bottom and 5" wide at the center. Total length is 58 1/2". There are no stains or damage on this wonderful piece. This vase is one of my favorites. Made in Bronze. She stands on a bed of lily pads with two small vases, one on each side. Total height is 7". The base measures 3 1/4" across. This amazing piece is very rare, and very lovely. It is in wonderful condition, with no snags or loose bits. It has a few very faint smudges that should come out easily. It measures 40.5" long x 22 " tall. This was once apparently nailed to a bench or other piece of furniture, as at the edges you can see the small antiques nail spots, but this would be the ultimate piece for a piano bench, or perfect in a frame.

This spectacular pin cushion which is dated on the end reading Kansas City, Mo 1904 and on the reverse side reading the initials - POP. It measures 10" across by 5 1/2" wide by almost 4 1/2" in total height. A soft mauve peach colored velvet with a matching mauve and celedon green braid that borders the edge. I love this piece. Constructed in cast iron, this maiden has the look of dutch style. While not in perfect condition in regards to the paint it is sturdy and has survived remarkably. The only blemish is the left arm where the paint seems to have worn off. There is some rust on the back of the casting but the front is still charming. I have not attempted to clean this piece. It is common to find these cast metal boxes in roses or poppies but this is the only one that I have seen in my 30 plus years of collecting that is done in the Iris flower. This delicate frame from the late Victorian era is in good condition. The silk faille is in good condition with some age staining on the left hand side. The metallic and silk ribbon embroidery is in very good condition. The frame measures 8 1/2" high by 7" wide. The oval opening measures 5 1/2" high by 3 3/4" across. It has an easel back with a hanging ring at the top.

This beaded piece from the late Victorian era is in excellent condition. The card that it is tacked to measures 11" x 14". There is only one visible hole in the netting which measures 1/8" and is located on the upper right at the edge. The entire piece is embroidered with black sequin and beads. it is clean with no fading or rot.

This is one of the best examples of an evening fan for going out on the town in the good ol' days. Measuring just under 15" in height a rich buttery yellow spray of ostrich feathers is mounted on a 6" tortoise shell handle which is hand carved in a spiral design with a black velvet wrist tie.
