This covered sugar pot has a semi-glossy finish, classic urn shape, two handles and finial topped lid. The lidded dish features orange borders with gold scrolls and garlands on an ivory and bone china white background. Highly collectible, this work of decorative art is a gem.

MARK: Noritake China “M in wreath” Hand Painted, Japan, registered in 1933 (DHS #43.056).

ORIGIN: Of Japanese (Asian, Oriental) derivation, most old Noritake collectibles were designed at the Morimura Brothers Trading Company in New York City, then produced at the Nippon Toki Kaisha, Ltd. ("the Company that makes Japan's Finest China") factory in Noritake, Japan for export to Western (Occidental) markets.

CONDITION: Near Mint Vintage Condition (no cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs).

COLORS: bone china white, ivory with gold gilt, and orange.

SIZE: about 4.5” to top of cover, 4.5” handle to handle & 3.5” in diameter.
