The vase is masterfully executed in two layers with acid cutting a and reflects adventurous design of florals and butterflies. It bears a signature "De Vez" in cameo that was used after 1910 by E.S.Monot when the firm was joined by Camile Tutre de Varreaux who became artistic director of the company. The vase is truly an Art Nouveau piece with beautiful colour combination of icy blue and dark chocolate brown, a lot of attention was paid to details. Very fine example of French cameo glass proudly standing in one row with similar creations of such makers as Galle, Daum and Schneider.
Striking and just fabulous. The true colours are presented on photos # 1-3 (without a flash). Please note that the photos were made in a close up mode and actual size is much smaller than appears on pictures.
