14K Victorian Coral Demi Parure c.1850-60

Die stamped and engraved, this mid Victorian set is marked 14K gold on the clasp. Twisting gold branches berries wind around branch coral on the oval brooch with scalloped edges. Each component has branch coral and dangling gold cylindrical beads. The detail is exquisite with old C catch closure. The brooch can be worn as a brooch, pendant or watch pendant. The bail swivels downward and there is a hook inside to hold a watch. The brooch measures 1-1/4 x 1-1/2 inches long with extended pin stem. The matching earrings measure 1/2 x 1-3/4 inches long.
