14K Victorian Cat's Eye Quartz Cameo Locket

Hallmarked 583 (14K) on the bail, this pendant is rose gold with a Cat's Eye quartz which is Greenish gray in color. There is a carved cameo of a roman soldier. The stone can be found in Sri Lanka and Bavaria, West Germany. The c.1870's pendant is considered rare because it swivels .This pendant is in excellent condition and measures 1 x 1-1/4 inch long.
