MID-NOVEMBER SALE! Take 10% ALL Items 'til 11/30! Beautiful New Items Added Weekly! Layaways Available! I Ship Worldwide!
Please note that this bangle was originally sold, but as I mentioned in my description, the green came out too bright in my photos. The green portion of the bangle is a soft pale green which compliments neutral tones as well highlighting the russet "blaze" on the sides. Please note this when making your purchase.
Measuring 3 1/8" outside diameter, 2 1/2" inside diameter, and 3/8" thick, this nephrite jade bangle is generous in size, and in pristine condition with a high polish after 90 years! Best of all, it is large enough to fit a wrist up to 8" (I have a 6 3/4" wrist, and this bracelet slides halfway up my forearm!)
The colors in this bangle are primarily a cool, light spring onion green with mutton fat undertones, and a gorgeous splash of natural russet on one side - SO pretty! (The photos make the green jade look brighter than it is; "in hand," it is a softer shade of cool "spring onion" green. The russet tone is accurate.) The jade has not been dyed or treated.
Weighing in at a substantial 55.4 grams, this bangle is suitable for everyday wear. Like most Chinese jade bangles crafted during the early 20th century, this bangle is carved "in the round," and is cool and comfortable on the arm. It can be worn alone, or with other jade bangles (jade makes a charming musical jingle when worn together on the arm)! The colors are neutral enough to compliment any wardrobe.
If you love the finest in Chinese jade jewelry, this bangle belongs on your arm and in your collection! I have been lucky enough to acquire several fine antique jade bangles which I have listed this week, and they are going fast, so do not miss this lovely example - it is priced for quick sale!
