This item is a beautiful vintage Nippon celery dish with handles. The dish is 12 3/4" handle to handle, and 6 1/2" across the middle, by 2" tall at the handles. The dish is white with a beige band trimmed in gold that has only minimal wear from use. The decoration on the band is open lotus blossoms with wonderful leaves all the way around the piece. The makers mark on the bottom is blue and is a circle divided into six sections with "Hand Painted" above and "Nippon" below it. This mark identifies the piece as Noritake porcelain.
