This item is a collector plate titled, "Mallards" from W. S. George and is the second issue in the Federal Duck Stamp Competition series of plates. The plate was designed by Richard W. Plasschaert and measures 1' deep at the gold trimmed rim by 8 1/2" in diameter. The central decoration depicts a pair of mallards in flight over still water with a forest in the background and rushes in the foreground. The plate is in mint condition, but the COA and issue box have been lost over time. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to make an offer.
