Noritake Nippon Hexagonal Hand Painted Vase

This item is a porcelain vase bottom marked with an "M" in a wreath with , "Hand Painted, Nippon" around it done in green. The vase is 7 1/2" tall, 4" across the shoulders, by 1 7/8" across the foot. The vase has pink cherry blossoms with green leaves and stems as central decoration, with a single blossom on the reverse. The rim, neck, shoulder, and foot are heavily trimmed with gold that has rows of raised dots on them. There is light green band at the neck and shoulder that has flowers, leaves, and stems in gold as decoration. The shoulder band has a single white enamel flower on three sections and the neck band has two panels with a white bloom. The only wear is some very minor gold loss on the points of the upper rim, the balance of the piece shows no wear, damage, repaint, or repairs.
