Stunning vintage engagement ring set in platinum with fancy cut cabochon onyx and emeralds. The ring holds a semi-modern brilliant cut diamond 1.4 Carat with total diamonds weight 2 Carats. In excellent condition, nice addition to our antique jewelry store.

Gemstones: Eight fancy cut cabochon cut Emeralds and four cabochon cut Onyx.

Material: Platinum.

Diamonds: One semi-modern brilliant cut diamond with a total estimated weight of approx. 1.40 carat. (color approx. K/L, clarity approx. si). and 34 semi-modern brilliant cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.60 carat.

Total diamond weight: approx. 2.00 carats.

Hallmarks: 950 indicating a platinum alloy of 95%

Period: ca. 1980

Although recently made, the artist making this ring was clearly inspired by the Art Deco style. Abstract motives and geometrical forms are quite typical for the Art Deco period.
