This beautiful, fine quality casserole measures 9” X 4 ¼” when it is not in the chrome holder, 5” high in the holder.
The rim of the casserole dish sits about ½” above the serving holder and is highlighted with a metallic silver line. The bottom of casserole bowl reads ‘Made exclusively for Forman Family, Inc by THE HAll CHINA CO., U.S.A.’
The lid of the casserole fits inside the bowls rim. The sides of the lid are paneled with 4 bouquets of the pink and white flowers with gray leaf. The knob on the lid is 1 ¾”D with a metallic silver line around it. There is a 1 ¾” band recess around the knob allowing the top to appear flat. There is a 5/8”W basket weave band between the recess and the sides of the lid.
The server was made by Foreman Family, Brooklyn N.Y. and has very ornate details. Some call this Foreman-Ware; it is made of chrome over brass and guaranteed rust free.
This extremely nice casserole, in a server, would be an eye catcher on any table.
